Preliminary consultation

• All potential new models are scheduled for a free individual consultation. During that meeting we discuss your marketability and answer any questions you may have regarding the modeling industry.
• An appointment may be made for a one-on-one model training session with a photographer at which time images will be taken that may be chosen for a portfolio.
• NOTE - A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot for training. The amount of this deposit varies, depending on the photographer and location of the session. This deposit will be applied in full toward your session with the photographer.

Day of your photographer training session

• You arrive at your appointment time with a selection of outfits (based on the guidelines for women or men) and your hair and makeup ready.
• Your wardrobe choices will be reviewed, and we’ll decide which outfits to shoot and in which order to shoot them.
• Introductory training with photographer.
• Photos are taken.
• At the completion of the session, payment is due(typically $350 for the 1st hour/$175 for each additional hour). Any deposit will be applied in full at this time.

Proof review for portfolio (1-2 days after your photo shoot)

• We meet to review the proofs from the photo shoot.
• We select the images to be used in the portfolio.
• We decide on any digital imaging and CDs needed.
• You decide on the size and format of the portfolio to be prepared. We offer both economical online only and comprehensive book portfolios.
• Please note that book portfolios cost an additional $10 per image (as opposed to an online only portfolio). If you choose the book portfolio option (90%+ of our customers do), the $10/image is to be paid in full at the proof review, when the book is ordered.
• We go over the final cost to complete the portfolio, which will be based on your decisions, outlined above.
• A minimum of at least 50% down payment for the portfolio is due at this time. (Note that these charges are in addition to the photo shoot.)
• Please note that proof reviews are adults only. Models may bring a spouse or up to two parents. No more than three people may attend the proof review.

Portfolio pick-up (3 weeks after your proof review)

• After paying off the balance of the portfolio with either cash, a cashier's check, debit/credit card, or money order, (please note that personal checks are not accepted to pay off the balance of the portfolio), you receive the final portfolio. It will contain all the materials ordered during the proof review. If you opted for the online only portfolio you will sign the Terms of Representation Agreement at this time. If you opted for the book portfolio, you will sign the Terms of Representation Agreement and receive your portfolio book and Photo CD at this time. If you purchased the copyrights of your portfolio images, you will receive your proof of copyright at this time (which you will need to show before any images can legally be printed by a general or photographic retailer), along with a detailed guide to how to download, print and use the copyrighted images.
• If you live outside of the DFW metroplex area and it is not possible to pick up your final portfolio, it can be mailed to you (certified and insured) for an additional charge.
• Please note that personal checks are accepted for photo shoot charges and porfolio down payments only. Final portfolio pickups must be paid by money order, cashier's check, or credit/debit cards (MC/Visa/Discover/Amex).

Model representation

• Once your portfolio is complete, Sunshine Productions will represent you to clients with suitable hiring opportunities in fashion, print, media, and promotional events.
• When a client expresses interest in working with you, we call or email you immediately to discuss the job and your availability.(Be sure to notify us of any change in your home or cell phone numbers.)
• For all jobs booked by Sunshine Productions, a 20% commission is deducted from your earnings.
